What SUITS you? *Part 1*

So you're not exactly on the cover of GQ (yeeettt, HA!) and you're not exactly the subject of menswear fashion spreads on suits. But hey, it's all good 'cuz for the next four days I'll be doing a little profile on how to make suits work for you and having it suit your shape - all with the luxury of not watching one calorie or doing one sit-up. But you know guys, that'd help, too. Anywho, there's four basic body shapes for men and today we'll start off with the first:

SHORT

5 Things to know:
1. Yeah, admit it, you're short. So logically BUY SHORT-LENGTH SUITS!
2. Having a pant break with very little break helps you look taller.
3. To help lengthen the look of your arms, show a little cuff.
4. A peak lapel helps your physique appear more elongated.
5. To create long lines that appear to stretch you out, have a lower button stance.

Don't Don't Don't:
- DO NOT wear a longer suit jacket. It'll make your legs look shorter and you'll wind up lookin' like Cedric the Entertainer.
- Try not to wear thick, fat ties and suits jackets with wide lapels. Such shapes widen your lines and make them shorter, which voila, makes you look shorter.

Steppin' Out:
- You don't wanna be stompin' around lookin' like you got ankle weights on. Rock the slender shoes.
